This is really genius. Who knew they would soak up the colors so well? The pearls do give a great “creepy, but I’m not sure why, oh wait there’s a bunch of day-glow balls floating in my drink” vibe. Perfect for a Halloween libation. Next year I will definitely try this with some juice and natural food coloring and see how it goes.

And I know I’m in the minority, but I totally loved the Orbitz drink from the late 90’s that had floating colored balls in it. Did anyone else get yummy flashbacks from this post?

And you could definitely do this for a kids party too, just leave out the alcohol soaked ones and mix with sprite or grape juice!
