Nothing is what it seems, go click the links below the pics to find out what they really are. I totally love the faux “Eggs on Toast” – Eggs on Sunday has the instructions on making them.
Hope you enjoy these cute april fool’s food ideas I culled from my own stash, and from around flickr!
Nothing is what it seems…
Top: Sushi? – I made this last year for an April Fool party, and again at halloween (instructions)
Middle: A cupcake?
Eggs and Toast?
Bottom: Veggies and Fish Sticks?
Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup?

Oh my gosh! I have to make the sushi! My husband will love it!
Diana,
I made something similar to the cupcake meatballs before, but mine weren’t that pretty.
Lindsey,
So glad you like it! I’ve made the sushi a few times. it’s always a hit, not just at april fools..
SO much fun, thanks a ton for posting these, I’ll be linking.
Cool and colorful. Thanks for sharing.
Hi!thanks for your cm,and for your question I have to say I find the pictures from everywhere.magazines.books,internet and etc…(as I am a design student,my eyes always looking for those things :O)
and I love this colorful and beautiful “yumyums” ;P
these are super funtastic! thank you. :)
I made them! My husband loved them. I was worried he wouldn’t, he’s not a real dessert kind of guy and is very much a sushi kind of guy. But he loved them! He only ate two, but I’m taking the rest to my students as a April Fool’s Day continuation. Check out my blog for pics: http://piggyinthepuddle.blogspot.com/2009/04/happy-april-fools-day.html
Thanks for the great idea!
