I can't wait to try your recipe!

I like to use the eggs in the shell that have been pasteurized in warm water. If you do that, you can mix up the dough and eat until your heart's content!

(And you can get coupons from them at safeeggs.com)

Oh, I love oatmeal cookies. The picklets have been asking me to make cookies and it is my turn to take treats to gymnastics. I will be making these today or better yet will have the picklets make these today! I am glad I am not the only one who substitutes chocolate chips for the raisins tho I have been known to buy chocolate covered raisins to put in oatmeal cookies. Thanks for sharing the recipe.

You know, I could read any number of other blogs, and if they were out of power all day, their post would be full of complaints. Not you! I don't know if others picked up on your optimism, but it didn't go unnoticed here.
As for the oatmeal cookies, I'm gonna hafta bookmark it. See, Easter was overloaded and now it's diet time again. Ugh.
