ShrinkyIf you’ve been reading Dabbled a while, you’ll know I’m a huge fan of shrink plastic.  With 4th of July around the corner, I was reminiscing over our brunch which turned into a shrinky-dink making  party last year!

Now you know I prefer to make shrinkies using #6 plastic recyclables, rather than buying the storebought materials, but this idea from Photojojo is pretty nifty:  Make Photo Necklaces, Earrings, Magnets and More Using Shrinkable Plastic

I’ve been surfing for a way to mark my many keys and wondered if this could be done with shrinky dinks. Any thoughts on that?

Hmm, not sure that shrinkies would be the best way, unless you mean mark them by adding key chains. I think you might want to look into resin.

I am so thrilled to have found you on the instructables web site! I love your work and the ideas going thru my head are never ending! I have been wanting to do photo shrinky dinks and have purchased the kits from a local art supply store, but have not had time to work on them. I have a 7 year old and twin 6 year olds. One of the twins is autistic and has mild cerebral palsy. Anyways, hence I have been looking for autism jewelry and have not been happy with the choices/prices…but now, I can make my own! I love your site! Please keep up the good work and I will be watching! Amy
