Illustration Friday

IF: Muddy – I made you a pie for Valentines Day

Just a quick sketch for Illustration Friday, since the week’s almost out, and I’ve been so busy working on Foodwhirl.com… (Which you should now go check out!..details here.)

Illustration Friday – “Hatch”

A couple of fun little doodles for you (and IF)… First is a little monster/alien I’ve been doodling lately, hatching from his egg!    Second is the little monster, in holiday mode! Which do you like better? Free Download of the Santa Monster, if you’d like to use it for holiday cards or crafting!  Just click through to flickr and download it there.

Illustration Friday: Music

I’m making up for lost time apparently this week. This is the fourth (or third, depending on how you look at it!) in the black and white series

An Unbalanced Robot

I was playing around last night, and came up with this guy. I think he’d make a cute t-shirt!
(I like this style, it reminds me of the Tracer Bullet strips from Calvin and Hobbes!)

Illustration Friday: they threw caution to the wind…

… and just went romping through the tulips! Someone asked for this a long time ago (back when I posted the Alice in the Rose Garden & Wizard of Oz Poppies pics)… and I finally got around to doing it. And no, I haven’t finished the robot sketch from last week…. Will post when I do!

Another Robot Drawing.. (IF: Wrapped)

This is a sketch I did for the Illustration Friday prompt of ‘wrapped’. I really like him. Not sure what I’m going to do with him next, but I’ll keep you posted. Maybe an update tomorrow?

An Illustration Friday Robot- on an actual friday, no less!

I dug out the paints and canvas for the first time in ages… what do you think? I’m thinking of a series of these for the new shop (which yes, I know, is so behind schedule). So, the theme for IF this week is Modify, and I’m not sure exactly how this big bot is modifying the little bot, but I’m sure it will turn out well…
It looks a little more washed out here since it’s a scan of the art, but I’m quite happy with it.

Scooby Doo Villains – created for Superpunch

One of my fave cool link websites, Superpunch had a contest this month to artistically recreate a Scooby Doo supervillain… Do I wait to the last minute to draw something?… yup! Demon Shark:
And this one didn’t exactly come out as I planned, but here’s Space Kook… It’s a little known fact, but before turning to a life of crime, Space Kook was a renowned botanist! That or since I just got back from Austria, I keep picturing him singing “Climb Every Mountain”.. And… Read on...

Illustration “Friday” – Shaky

Old Mr. Buttons is a little bit shaky at times, but he’s always got a kind word and some candy. Not my favorite coloring job, but I love the design of the old robot. :) Oh, and PLEASE make sure you have the updated RSS feed:

And win a prize by spreading the word, here! (that’s also where you can find the original Mr. Buttons sketch)
