Cake Baking Day!

Apparently I’ve bitten off more than I can chew by thinking I could do everything to get ready for The Boy’s party this weekend, handle “Real Life”, AND actually blog about it! So, I think the tutorial on how to make the Dragon-Wings will have to wait until next week. I made 20(!!) of them, so needless to say, this is a REALLY quick and dirty design. :) Today I bake cakes. I’m working on this year’s party for The Boy’s #4 Birthday right now (DRAGONS! Coming Soon!), which got me thinking about last year’s party. For the #3 party, we did a Robot Spaceman theme, and everyone loved it, so I figured some of you might be interested in what we did…. This is a cute party idea, that kids like, and is fun to do. Hope everyone had a good weekend. We were so busy! It rained a bit too, which changed our plans from going to the Renaissance Festival with friends, to cooking out with a house full of friends instead. And I began experimenting with the techniques I’m going to use to create The Boy’s birthday cake this year … his birthday’s in a few weeks (4th!), and I have to surpass last year’s robot cake, right?
