Crafty Día de los Muertos “Sugar” Skulls!

Check out the fun and fabulous ideas for (non-edible) Skulls (based on Day of the Dead Sugar Skulls) from one of my favorite crafty fellow Atlantans– Colleen of Some Art Fabric & Sloth Craft. (She did a fun Girls Blue Jean Remake tutorial for Dabbled, too!)

Get the free tutorial (.pdf) to make the Skull Zipper bag here!

And here is the tutorial for the paper window covering.

Of course, you can cut out these shapes, or similar ones yourself to do these fun projects. But if you’re lazy like me, you might want to pick up one of her kits or sets of cutouts – very reasonably priced, I think.

Thanks to Colleen for Sharing! Hope these provide you some Halloweentime inspiration, that’s not all pumpkins and black cats!

Hey FCC! I didn’t receive any compensation for this post, I just like her stuff. Well, she did offer me a diet coke one time–and she lets me play with her toys. Does that count? Will the FCC arrest me for mocking their new regs?
