Here’s mommy_in_a_meditative_midlife_crisis’s version of the Dragon Cake, which she made for her son’s 6th birthday last year! “I just got finished making the cake for my son’s 6th birthday party today. Thanks so much for your easy to follow directions! It made the whole process quite enjoyable! Since I couldn’t get. A hold of Easter candy in September I just made fondant covered cake balls for the eggs and used fondant for the spikes.”

I mentioned in November that I was thinking about a new food-related group blog. With the holidays, that fell to the back burner, but now that we have a fresh new year, we’re starting up work on this new project. So, I figured I’d give you guys a heads up on what’s coming!
This new blog will try to answer the eternal question of ‘What’s for Dinner?’, with recipes, how-to’s, menus, techniques, and so forth. For Halloween this year, I tried a new idea, that I had gotten from the most excellent blog, Filth Wizardry. She did this as a fun project with the kids, and I thought it looked like a lovely and disgusting item for the Halloween buffet, especially for the kiddos.
