Here is a simple set of Christmas themed gift tags for you (made with some of the images from the Little Game Box from friday). It’s also my Illustration Friday for “Undone”, since these will just be thrown away when the wrappings are undone, but they are cute while they last!

Throw a White Elephant Gift Exchange – with downloadable invite & rules!

One of my favorite parties to throw during (or after!) the holiday season is a White Elephant gift exchange party.  We do one every year, and it’s always a lot of fun.  It’s also a great icebreaker party or office party, too!

Last year, I made up some invitations, a rule sheet, and a number sheet so you can easily throw your own.  Since some of you might not have been around last year, I figured it wouldn’t hurt to share them with you again.

Just go here for the invite, the rules, alternate rules for large groups like office… Read on…

Make Quick Mittens

Make Quick Mittens

Hi! I’m Heather from Dollar Store Crafts, a daily blog devoted to making cool crafts with dollar store stuff. I’m so excited to be swapping holiday posts with Dot!

Holiday Cookies – Christmas Tree

Holiday Cookies - Christmas Tree

This is a fun and impressive cookie project that makes a great gift. This project is from last year, but I figured it was worth repeating for this year!

These little Christmas trees are stacks of iced sugar cookies, with a Reese’s cup on the bottom for a stem. Thanks to Aunt Denise and Aunt Barb (and family) for including me in the process of making them last thanksgiving, and letting me take pictures for posterity!

(If you like these, you’d probably like the wedding cake cookie version that they made previously, too!)
