I had a couple of different ideas for Subtract, and basically combined them all in one picture. The subtracted leg, the calculator on his chest… not sure where i was really going with this one! Anyway, not my favorite of the series….it just wasn’t quite what I envisioned. But maybe it will grow on me. Which are your favorites?

My camera is in the shop and I’m dying!… and it’s inhibiting my documenting projects, but stay tuned for these fun things coming up this week & next (once I steal borrow my hubby’s camera):

-My friend Heidi’s tutorial and pattern to make a cute fabric basket.
-Making Sushi… Me and The Boy!
-Finally, a write up on the Limoncello

For today, another robot watercolor. This one is Very Blue. (For some reason, my scanner is making these look really red. Odd. — the bricks are much more muted in the original!) And below that, you can see The Boy’s robot he painted!

Back to the origin roots with this one. I do wonder what they use these hearts for. I’m loving this series — this odd surreal world.

So this was supposed to be my IF for “Intricate”, but I suppose it’s I could stretch it to make it a second “Legendary” (previous). Since it’s my world, I get to make up the legends, right?

This was the one i had in my head… didn’t come out exactly as planned, but ya can’t win ‘em all, i guess. I posted one earlier this week that I like better, but doesn’t fit the theme as well.

A tad geeky and esoteric, yes? With almost a vintage 70’s movie poster feel to me. The Creator is a programmer of sorts, creating life from the simplest binary form. He’d better hope it’s not breezy, or his work could be lost to the sands of time! Yeah, that’s reaching. I’ve got a really cute thing in mind for the Breezy prompt for illustration friday, but I haven’t gotten to it yet. So check back, I’ll be back with a even more inspired piece!

I don’t know about you, but when I want to celebrate something, I cook! In a perfect combination of things both robotic and aquatic, I give you the Chef.

PS: The Anti-Valentines Votes are being tabulated… Stay tuned! And I was Valentine’s guest artist for fave webcomic Sluggy Freelance on Saturday, check it out… Oh, one more thing – if you missed it, check out the auction for the Squidee watercolor – All proceeds go to aid in the Australian bushfire relief effort.

A valentine’s themed watercolor for this week’s IF word of “Climbing”. I drug out the real watercolors for this one – not the photoshop ones. And I remembered why I both love and hate watercolors. I’m not sure exactly the story behind this one. Surrealism, robots, hearts, and even a robotic cupid [included since Diane's Daily Art Stop challenge is Angels and Cupids ]

PS – Don’t forget to enter the Anti-Valentines Contest! I’m sure some of my ultra talented art friends can come up with a cool illo — maybe an anti-vday card!?
