I just frosted Perry with a frosting I tinted his perry-color, and instead of using fondant for the tail, feet, bill, etc…I just softened the vanilla tootsie rolls and kneaded in food coloring! all in all…it was a lot of work, but so much fun to do! Thanks for the tutorial! My sister screamed when she saw it!

Thank you so much for this! OMG the cake was so perfect for my son’s birthday party. I can not be more grateful for your step by step instructions! They were so fabulous. I had never heard of marshmallow fondant until I read your post. I love it and it tastes great.
I’m posting this before we actually cut into the cake, to be honest I don’t want to cut it, it looks too darn cute!
