(Yes, I can still tweet from my blackberry with a 102 fever!) Apparently I’m getting better today, as I’ve managed to make it out of bed and to the computer. We’ll technically sitting on the bed typing on the laptop, but you know what I mean.

So I finally went to the Dr. today, and they confirmed that I do have the flu, probably/maybe the swine flu — apparently it’s so common these days they don’t routinely swab for it specifically any more.

So they just told me to continue to rest and drink lots of fluids, and take ibuprofen or tylenol for the fever and treat any other symptoms with OTC meds as I had been doing.

One thing I learned — even with all the freak out over the swine flu — you basically just treat it like the regular flu. Unless you’re in a high risk group, or start having additional problems, they don’t really do anything special to treat it.

Anyways, no fever today, so cross your fingers and send me good thoughts!
