Who is going to Dragon-con in Atlanta this year? Labor Day Weekend?
Lots of geeky fun, and worth going just to see the cool costumes… If so, let me know, maybe we can do a meet up! I’ll take lots of pictures of course, for those of you who have to miss it.
Update: The Domestic Scientist & Dabbled are thinking about doing a geek craft chick meetup at D-con. Details to come! Let us know if you’re interested!
While I’m on the subject of reveling in my geekiness, here are some cool geeky links:
- If you’re into making amigurumi, or just think it’s cool to look at, here is a roundup of some great geeky ones at The Domestic Scientist
- For fabulous geekiness, check in regularly with The Evil Mad Scientist Labs… Here’s their Linkdump for August
- Geeky Papercraft
- Geek Art and Technology @ Web Urbanist – Great Roundup… Love the Pac-Mac stool, the robot sculptures, and the steampunk guitar!

- I need to send this xkcd comic to my parents & in-laws who we do tech-support for: http://xkcd.com/627/
- Love these Star Wars trash compactor book ends! http://is.gd/2ojWI(found via twitter from @make & @avgjanecrafter)
- I meant to link to this last week, but check out all the cool star wars crafts from Dollar Store Crafts
- Finally, not sure if it’s really geeky per se, but I love this plush Green Eggs and Ham!
